TOPIC: Installed on C Drive
Installed on C Drive 10 Years ago Karma: 0
I wanted to try out Codyssey, but I didn't have my USB drive with me, so I made the installer put Codyssey on my local C: drive. After experiencing some unexpected behavior (no doubt from installing it to C), I manually removed the application. The problem is that it renamed my C drive to "Codyssey Smart Drive", and changed the icon. Whenever I try to rename it, it just reverts back to "Codyssey Smart Drive". I cannot change the icon either. How do I restore my C drive to its original state?

In order to rename the X: drive back and to remove CodySafe icon you just need to delete the file Autorun.inf in the root directory. Please notice that this file has hidden and system attributes.

Those who want to make this easy can simply download the uninstaller and run it.

Please keep in mind that you may need to reboot your PC before changes take effect.
